The following 4-H Members have been selected as recipients of the 2010 4-H Opportunity Scholarships from the New York State 4-H Foundation:

Cassandra, Columbia County
Claudette, Rensselaer County
Sarah, Tompkins County
Courtney, Ulster County
Matthew, Niagara County
Marissa, Clinton County
Emily, Chautauqua County
Jared, Rensselaer County
Each will receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Foundation. Recipients will be recognized at the opening event of the 4-H Career Exploration Program on June 29.
Our congratulations to the ten recipients and to all the outstanding 53 4-Hers who submitted applications. The achievements of all who were considered for scholarships shows the great work that is being accomplished by our young people in 4-H.
