Cornell Cooperative Extension Clinton County in Plattsburgh seeks 4-H Afterschool Program Educator with High School diploma and experience working with groups of young people. Implement evidence-based, age-appropriate 4-H programming to promote youth developing life skills, leadership, and science literacy in the Plattsburgh City School District Learning Center afterschool program for Kindergarten through 8th graders for the 2010-2011 school year. Also to assist in program design and evaluation. Experience working with young people, computer skills, and ability to travel essential. Needs to be available to work between the hours of 3 PM and 5 PM Monday through Friday (other hours flexible). Youth development courses desirable. 20 hrs/week with benefits.
Compensation: $13 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus benefits
