The Creative Critters held a bake sale to benefit the Champlain Valley K9 Search and Rescue Team. The families were able to pull together and we were able to set up 2 tables at Wal-Mart, 1 at each end of the store. Members of the Search and Rescue Team joined us in our efforts. Visitors to the bake sale had the opportunity to enjoy some great treats and meet the dogs, Inka, Rider and Easton and their human handlers. The dogs were a big hit and they helped to increase business. We raised over $700 in 4 hours! It was a pleasure working with the Search and Rescue Team and we appreciate them joining us.
