Community Service Opportunity: Fair Horse Barn Panels

For those clubs interested in donating funds to put new panels in the Horse Barn on the fairgrounds, money is due on September 9, 2010. After that date, we will be sending a check to the Fair Board so they can start construction.

The panels are to allow light into the barn. To put panels up all the way around the outside walls of the barn, the building needs 46 panels. One panel costs $12. A club can donate whatever amount they would like (and you do not have to participate). Donations so far:

• Chattering Chipmunks: 1 panel ($12)
• Tricky Trotters: 1 panel ($12)
• Mystery Riders: 4 panels ($48)

To donate, please contact the Extension Office or mail in a check or money order made out to Cornell Cooperative Extension.
